The Ploughboy is situated at one of the many gateways to the Mendip Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Mike, Jackie, their two daughters Sam and Tracy, with the help of their full time member of staff Sylvia have worked together to make The Ploughboy the friendly, traditional, free house it is today.

There is a forty seater lounge/bar area where you can enjoy anything from a pint and a packet of crisps, a light snack, or look through the extensive bar menu and then onto the daily specials board.

In the winter months an open log fire awaits you, while in the summer the patio garden is the perfect place to enjoy the sunshine.
